This installation of the new furnace and air conditioning system presented a significant challenge due to the cramped utility room, which offered barely enough space to maneuver. Navigating tight corners and limited access points required creative problem-solving and teamwork. We meticulously planned each step, using compact tools and specialized equipment designed for tight spaces. By disassembling certain components for easier transport and reassembly, we managed to fit everything into place without compromising efficiency or safety. Our persistence and innovative approach not only completed the installation on schedule but also ensured optimal performance of the systems in their new, limited quarters.

There are huge changes happening in the HVAC industry over the next couple months. If you’re a homeowner or soon to be one, you might want to take a moment to read this. They have made a change to the refrigerant in the AC systems. The reason it’s a big deal this time unlike last time is the suddenness of the change. Last refrigerant change was started in 2003, but was not mandatory until 2007. This allowed plenty of time for the industry to experiment and learn the new refrigerant. This was a guinea pig era of R410a. The new R32 and R454a is a sudden change with no crossover time to learn the new product. The proper way when changing refrigerant has always been to replace the entire indoor and outdoor system to match. However, in the event a customer was not in a financial position to replace everything at once there was a way to mix-match and at least get them through until everything could be replaced. The new refrigerant will not allow this. If parts are 30, 60 or 90 days out, the ability to swap a condenser will not be possible. The only option now is full system replacement. When a change like this occurs, manufacturers must hold parts until warranties expire and the complete change typically takes 20yrs. If I were in the position for needing a replacement in the near future, I would rush to make the change before the change over is mandatory. The manufactures started releasing the new equipment and lines and updates. Prices are going up and you’ll be forced to face the new requirements. Hopefully, this will help you know what’s coming very soon. No HVAC contractor asked for this. Our goal is never to make things harder than they have to be.

🚨 Commercial HVAC success story! 🚨 We recently helped a customer with a 15-year-old Carrier rooftop unit that had lost its cooling power. After a thorough inspection, we found the issue—a refrigerant leak caused by a thin spot where metal had been rubbing. Our team repaired the weak spot, restoring the unit's efficiency and saving the customer from having to spend $17,000 on a new system! 💸 At Full Time Heating & Cooling, we’re committed to providing honest repairs and affordable solutions. Why replace when you can repair? 🛠️ #HVACExperts #HonestRepairs #CustomerSavings #WatertownMN

Feeling that early morning chill? 🍂 One of our customers did and discovered their trusty old Rudd furnace wouldn't kick in. Thankfully, Jason stepped in and expertly replaced the control board, bringing warmth back to their home. Can you believe furnace season is almost here? Now's the perfect time to ensure your heating system is in top shape!

The weekend was a reminder of the importance of preventive maintenance, as seven service calls I made could have been prevented. Failed capacitors and dirty condensers led to AC system failures, forcing customers to sleep in the basement with fans.

Does your dryer vent blow right on to your air conditioner? Remember the air conditioner needs Proper airflow to cool your home. Don't let the hail guards hide a problem. Call Jason at Full Time Heating & Cooling to have your system inspection done before it over heats and turns off.

It pays to have a second opinion. Today’s customers house was recently sold and had another HVAC company tell him their 1985 Comfort Aire air handler needed to be replaced because the blower motor was shaking really bad. After looking the unit over I noticed a missing washer on one of the blower motor mounts. Removed the screw and added a washer, reinstalled the screw. Unit runs fine now. Spent a few minutes giving it a good cleaning.

Wow! Our commitment to providing exceptional experiences has paid off. We've just received our 25th five-star Google review!

🛠️ Furnace Restoration Success! A 1992 Carrier furnace was on the brink, struggling with a pilot light that refused to stay lit. A detailed cleaning later, the pilot light was functioning perfectly. Upon inspection, we discovered an unbalanced blower wheel causing quite a commotion. After securing about 12 screws, we replaced the blower wheel with a genuine factory replacement. The result? A furnace so quiet, the customer had to check if it was running! #FurnaceRepair #CarrierHVAC #HomeComfort

🌞 Prepare Your AC for Summer 🌞 As temperatures rise, it’s important to maintain your air conditioner for optimal performance. A simple yet effective step is to clean your condenser unit. When a furnace starts making a squeaky noise as the blower fans slow down, we take additional measures to identify the root cause. In this case, we found that the blower wheel was slightly imbalanced, causing the furnace to shake and produce the squeaky noise. After ensuring that the wheel is rotating smoothly and without any imbalance, the noise is eliminated.

Another day, another furnace saved from an early retirement! 🌟 Our complimentary second opinion turned a potential furnace replacement into a challenging yet rewarding repair. It took some serious skill and determination, but we were all in, opting for the hard work over the easy route of a new furnace. Let's keep those furnaces firing and budgets intact! #SecondOpinionSuccess #HVACHumor #ProblemSolved"

We had an interesting day today! A customer reached out to us after another company failed to diagnose the issue with their garage heater, which was causing a lot of noise. It only took me a quick glance to identify the problem: the blower motor fan blade was folded in half! Unfortunately, repairing it would have been too costly, so we provided the customer with options and they chose to get a brand new garage heater instead. #GarageHeaterProblems #QualityRepairs #UpgradeToComfort

Considering a costly furnace replacement? Before you commit, get a second opinion from us. We specialize in cost-effective solutions and honest assessments. Don't overspend when a simple fix, like an inducer motor replacement, may suffice. Trust us to save you money and keep your home comfortable. Here is our latest review from a satisfied client!

During a kitchen remodel, remember to check your air filter weekly and change it as needed. Those pesky dust bunnies can quickly turn your filter into a fluffy cloud! And hey, don't forget to turn off your fan during the chaos – we don't want the dust all over the house. And make sure your filters are secure.

Make up air for a kitchen exhaust fan. Not doing much of anything because the filter hasn’t been washed out in years.

Temperatures have taken a slight dip, don’t miss out on our Leap Year $29 furnace tune-up.

Another day of getting things ready. Today I went and visited 15 commercial properties to drop off a maintenance proposal. That took most of the day. But the highlight of the day was a return visit to a customer with a boiler. She had a bird come through the vent and get into her basement. Thankfully we were able to assist the bird back outside. Then went over the boiler to make sure it was ok.

We crossed another bridge today. The van worked great in the first “blizzard” of the year.
